Flooring

When it came to picking new floors for this client, a durable yet classic wood looking floor was a must. Real hardwood was out of the budget, so I wanted to present other more appropriate and affordable options. The client’s home had very old carpet, tile, and a small amount of laminate in the kitchen. We worked together to create a seamless and uniform look by selecting all one type of flooring for the home. This would include all high traffic areas, kitchen, and bathrooms. This eliminated thresholds so the flooring would flawlessly cover all rooms of the home. The client has several large dogs, so durability was key. I worked with her and presented several options. They were drawn to a natural wood color, wide plank and low pattern repeat. This client chose to go with a gorgeous laminate flooring from Gaia flooring in the color Sable. Local installers completed the project in a week, which was amazing. The finished outcome is gorgeous, the floor updates and modernizes this home. You can have functional flooring without sacrificing style.
