Ok, it might just be me, but I am in a better mood when there are candles burning in my home. I love the way it can change the mood and make things smell amazing! But let’s face it, candles can be expensive. I wondered how I could make some at home. Well, in fact, with a few hours and some materials, you can do it too! I ordered some glass jars, essential oils and a candle making kit from amazon. I simply followed the directions from the candle making kit, adding in drops of any essential oils that speak to you and let them sit. While they were drying I also added in a few pieces of rose petals. Eucalyptus leaves or orange peels. Within a few hours, I had several gorgeous candles. You can even use whatever vessels speak to you, the prettier the better. After they dried, I simply used my label maker and labeled each candle. These candles also make great gifts for friends and loved ones.
