Since today was “cold” and raining, I decided to have a fire in the fireplace and make some homemade chocolate chip cookies. If you personally know me, you know that my “cookies” are royalty. My secret recipe has been a fan favorite for years and people go crazy for my cookies, especially warm. Giving them out to neighbors on a cold, rainy day fills my heart with joy. Today’s recipe was the “basic” chocolate chips with walnuts, which is my favorite. Today seemed like a perfect day to bake some cookies and have a nice glass of milk, all before dinner was even served 😂
